I am pleased to announce, that I have been accepted into the prestigious Georgia Cumberland Academy (GCA), a Christian boarding school in Calhoun, Georgia. I am excited about attending GCA because it is Christian-based, has a great academic program, and GCA promotes the importance of having a relationship with Christ. 

 As a young Christian man, I desire to live and do what is right in the sight of God and I believe that GCA will help strengthen my relationship with Christ. My family and I are strong believers in Christian education and hard work. As a student at the academy I will attend classes for four hours a day and work four hours a day to defray the costs of my tuition. I am looking forward to entering the work-force through this campus-based program in preparation of working full-time next summer as well. I also received a $1,000 scholarship for academic excellence based on my transcript of courses completed at my former schools.  

Attending GCA will be a great opportunity for me to complete my high school diploma in an environment where youth set goals in excellence and develop healthy relationships. GCA is also one the elite schools in Georgia and a part of the largest protestant-based Christian education network in the world. The experience at GCA will allow me to interact with students from around the country. I also believe attending this academy will allow me to learn more about myself spiritually and mentally.
